ZMA Sector File version 1305W is now available! This file should be used by all controllers from DEL to CTR. Server Migration

On Saturday morning, we migrated the entire website from our old Hostmonster account to a dedicated private system. While we’ve made every effort to insure that all systems are working as they did before (and are hopefully faster and more responsive), there are bound to be things that we’ve overlooked. If you happen to spot one of these, please don’t hesitate to email webmaster@zmaartcc.net. It’s important that everything work smoothly.

One of the biggest differences between the old system and the new system is for anyone who holds a ZMA emailbox. New passwords were assigned to all email boxes. You should have already received your new password via email, but if you didn’t please email us and we’ll get it straightened out for you.

OBS & S1 Training Class: Wed., Feb. 13th @ 7:30pm EDT

A Training Class is being held for OBS students seeking training. This class is also appropriate for S1 students seeking to review certain concepts. The class will begin at 7:30pm EDT on Wednesday, the 13th of February. Students who are OBS should make plans to attend.

Miami Center v1204 File Released!

The New Miami Center Sector has Been Released! This Sector Includes the new AIRAC 1204 and includes the new departure procedures out of KMIA. I have also added the missing southern end of the FLL airport (which is not in use but still useful). STAR Ref Sheet Edited and Introducing new SID Reference Sheet!

Hello fellow ZMA Controllers! I bring to you changes to the STAR Reference sheet mainly for Center/Approach controllers. These changes include several new arrival procedures.

Also introducing the SID Reference Sheet! This Sheet provides a quick reference to KMIA, KFLL KTPA (Currently) but will facilitate more airports within the future.

New Departure Procedures at Miami International!

With the new airac cycle comes some new interesting departure procedures for Miami International! Here at the new dp’s as follows:

These procedures only contain transitions generally heading to one of our already existing departure gates / end point on existing procedures So there is no major changes in terms of exiting the TRACON. However, I recommend we all check them out in our spare time as they are now OFFICIALLY active at vZMA.
