SECTOR FILE VERSION 1271C HAS BEEN RELEASED
One of the most comprehensive updates of the ZMA ARTCC Sector File has now been released! This file should be used by all controllers including CAB & Radar.
Over half of all items went through a substantial upgrade and should aid those providing services to pilots. Visit the Controller Download section to grab your copy. Controllers should double check their SID diagram & ASDE settings once the new file is loaded to ensure all upgraded and new files are visible.
File update includes:
– More detailed geography for the Florida Keys, Miami TRACON, Tampa TRACON and Palm Beach area.
– Inclusion of more geographic features along the Gulf Coast, Eastern seaboard of the US, Bermuda, Yucatan and southern Caribbean.
— AIRAC version 1301 (January 2013)
— SID & STAR updates for all airports
— Runway updates at numerous fields including KFLL, KLAL and KSRQ.
This update also includes an extensive update of ASDE layouts for many airports within the ARTCC. They include:
— KBKV – New
— KFLL – Replaced. Shows layout effective February 2013. Now includes Sun Life Stadium. Old version still available if needed.
— KHWO – Replaced.
— KHST – New
— KLAL – Replaced. Now includes Sun'N'Fun approach objects.
— KMIA – Updated. All non-taxiway objects replaced. Now includes Marlins Ballpark, American Airlines Arena & MYBS ASDE.
— KMTH – New
— KOPF – Replaced. Now includes closed X46 ASDE due to pilot activities.
— KTNT – New
— KTPA – Replaced. Now includes Raymond James Stadium and Steinbrenner Field. Fly Tampa runway correction still available if needed.
— X51 – New
